Can instructors author their own questions?

Not currently; however, we are evaluating this for the future. Instructors can add their own discussion questions to the Course Stream, add them as a Discussion assignment, use the embedded Perspectives discussions, and can upload a series of questions in a document as a File Based Assignment for manual grading.

This feature is very important, especially when instructor needs the flexibility to include questions they find crucial but not found in WPLS. It's an added advantage that instructors are not restricted to only questions in WPLS.

This will likely not be on the roadmap for Fall. Perspectives questions are embedded in the e-Textbook -- see prior Tuesday Tips about this. and yes, faculty can create such quizzes and assignments in Custom Assignments.

Would this feature be on t he roadmap for Fall? This is coming up very often in my discussions.  What do you mean by embedded Perspectives Discussions? Can you provide an example? What about creating a quiz- can faculty create a quiz that auto grades multiple choice and T/F questions?
